a picture is worth a thousand words..

a few examples of my floral designs for corsages, boutonnières & accessories.  My work incorporates a mix of elegance, hues that I’ll match with the colors of  your dress or suit, and then adding a touch of whimsy!  If you’re unable to attend next Saturday’s Mas Cafe event in Emmaus, or if your prom is before the 9^th, send me an email or give me a call and we’ll arrange a one-on-one prom consultation.  Pricing begins at $15!

Prom: 2009

With prom season almost in full flow, I’ll be holding a second showcasing in Emmaus at Mas Cafe on Saturday, May 9 from 1-3 pm!  Pricing ranges from $15-$40.. making it affordable for high schoolers and their parents to add a stunning floral look into the mix.

Photo Shoot: Flowers & Fabric

This past Sunday was spent at Marla’s South Side studio.. brainstorming, making a few looks to use in her storefront display.. & sampling cookies and doughnuts!  I’ll let the pictures, taken by Laura (who plans on pursuing photography on a professional level once her children are both off to college), speak for themselves…   Enjoy,  and I  look forward to having you stop by our first Flowers & Fabric event this Friday – at Marla Duran’s Design Studio – 109 E 3rd Street – South Side Bethlehem from 6-10 p.m.

Flowers & Fabric: the Pre-Prom Style Event!

FLOWERS & FABRIC: a pre-prom event!

With prom season around the corner, I was asked if I might be interested in designing unique, one-of-a-kind corsages & boutennieres and “YES” was my answer!   I am joining creative forces with Marla Duran, my friend and fellow fashion designer, who has a fabulous studio in South Bethlehem.  Marla is bringing her style into a few looks for one-of-a-kind prom dresses and I will compliment her looks with my flowers..

If you’re free next Friday evening – April 3 from 6-10 p.m. – come by Marla’s studio, located at 109 E 3rd Street in Bethlehem.  It’s 1st Friday, so we are expecting a great flow of people throughout downtown South Side, and we look forward to having you stop by too!

snow, flowers, gala.

Yesterday evening was the annual Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce’s Snow Ball gala, and I was honored to donate two items to their silent auction: a certificate for 3 holiday bouquets (the recipient chooses the 3 holidays) and an incredible floral arrangement that decorated the main reception table.  This year’s auction beneficiary was Family Answers, a Lehigh Valley community organization that provides quality programs and services that nurture healthy family and individual life in the community.  With an estimated attendance of 400 guests, we hope the auction brings much-needed funding to Family Answers.  Enjoy the photos!

HAPPY 2009: I’m off to China, Korea & Vietnam!

Wishing all a great start to a very exciting New Year! I hope your holidays were surrounded by friends and family as mine were.

I am looking forward to 2009 and with Valentine’s just a few weeks away, I’m creating ideas for stunning, yet affordable bouquets for the one(s) you love!     Keep posted as I’ll have looks and pricing on the blog soon after my arrival back home.

Oh – I am off to Asia for work… Jumping from China to Korea to Vietnam and then that very long flight back home.
